Dog daycare

A whole day of play.

How much does dog daycare cost at Paw Talk?

A single daycare day is $25, and memberships and multi-day packages bring the per-day price down from there. Daycare runs Monday–Friday at 11011 US HWY 61 in Jackson, MO — and families come to us from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Fruitland and across Cape Girardeau County.

How does my dog start daycare?

Every new dog starts with a friendly temperament evaluation, conducted by our trainers on Mondays and Wednesdays. Once it's complete, you can book daycare days right from the Paw Talk App.

What does a daycare day look like?

Supervised group play sorted by your dog's size and energy, with a real midday rest built into every day — so dogs go home happily worn out instead of overtired. Photo updates come through the app while they play.

The Paw Talk Bus

The doggy daycare bus.

What is the Paw Talk Bus?

Our doggy daycare bus — a morning ride to daycare and back. You pick a bus stop when you book, and the bus does the rest. It runs on ride mornings (currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for pups on a daycare package or membership, with stops across Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Fruitland.

How much does the dog bus cost?

With a daycare membership, adding the bus works out to as little as $6 a ride over daycare alone. Add your stop when you book in the Paw Talk App.

Can I see where the bus is during a run?

Yes — bus families follow the ride on our live map, and the bus page shows current ride days. It's the only dog bus in the area with live GPS tracking.

Overnight boarding

Sweet dreams.

How much does overnight dog boarding cost?

Boarding starts at $38 a night in one of twelve themed suites, each its own little world with a real bed — and you pick your dog's room by name. Extra dogs from the same family share a suite at $10 off per dog.

Is boarding available on weekends and holidays?

Yes — Paw Talk is open 365 days a year, 6am–10pm, holidays included. Boarding days include play and care from morning to night, with eight outside play spaces.

Can dogs from Cape Girardeau board at Paw Talk?

Of course — Cape Girardeau families have trusted us for years, and in 2025 voted Paw Talk #1 in Cape County in the Southeast Missourian People's Choice Awards. We're a straight shot up US 61 from Cape.

Learn together.

What dog training programs does Paw Talk offer?

Board & Train (3–4 weeks), Puppy Camp (8–10 days), group classes and private lessons — all led by owner and head trainer Makayla, with owner education built into every program.

Is training only for puppies?

No. From Puppy Camp to private lessons for adult dogs, every program meets you and your dog exactly where you are — from potty training and leash manners to off-leash reliability.

What's the easiest way to start training?

A one-time $150 Puppy Quick Start — a session plus a take-home Puppy Prep Packet. Or call (573) 703-6206 and we'll point you to the right program.

Grooming

Fresh & clean.

What grooming services does Paw Talk offer?

Baths and blow-outs, brush-outs, full haircuts and nail trims — gentle handling for every coat and size, priced transparently by your dog's size and coat.
