What Is a Dog Bus? Daycare Pickup, Explained

What is a dog bus, exactly?
A dog bus is daycare with home-area pickup: instead of you driving across town, the daycare comes to a stop near you. At Paw Talk, the bus runs morning pickup on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, collecting pups from stops around Jackson and Cape Girardeau and delivering them to daycare — safe and reliable, wagging tails all the way.
How does the Paw Talk Bus work?
When you book daycare in the app, you add your bus stop as an add-on — that tells us which pickup location and time you've chosen for that day. On ride mornings the bus makes its rounds, your dog hops on, and their day of play starts before you've finished your coffee. Families can follow along on a live map.
Where and when does the bus pick up?
The bus runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, with a small set of stops around Jackson and Cape Girardeau — current stops and pickup times are always listed on the Paw Talk Bus page. Door-to-door pickup for daycare or boarding is coming soon.
Who can ride the bus?
Bus service is for pups enrolled in a daycare package or membership, and pickup runs in the morning only. If your dog is new to Paw Talk, they'll start with our friendly temperament evaluation first — then you can set up a plan and add their stop.
How much does the dog bus cost?
As little as $6 a ride over daycare alone. On memberships: 1 day/week is $125 a month ($85 daycare + $40 bus), 2 days is $214 ($150 + $64), and 3 days is $272 ($200 + $72 — that's the $6-a-trip rate). Day bundles work too: an 8-day package is $260 all-in, a 15-day package $380.
